Now imagine this:
You come from the most eastern country of EU - Poland. You fly 4 hours, over 3000 km to Porto, then drive 300 km by car down to Capo da Roca in order to see the most western place of the continent of Europe. And whom you meet there: a crew of the Russian battleship Aurora on the excursion. You start talking to the guys and they answer you in a rusty but marvelous old Polish: "My mother lives in Lviv (before WWII a Polish town), my brothers and sisters live there...". You become the best friend in an instant and you have a beer with the guy, no problem. No way you wouldnt, sure! Then another Russian officer joins you: "I was in Gdansk few years ago, our ship got repaired in the shipyard there. I stayed in Poland for nearly a year." He talked to my in pure Polish. Their depo is in Kaliningrad. A town in Russian district between Poland and Lithuania. I was 30 km from the place four day before :-))
